{"id":28,"date":"2014-10-06T14:58:54","date_gmt":"2014-10-06T14:58:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/svbcofe.org.uk\/ls\/?page_id=28"},"modified":"2026-04-13T09:40:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T09:40:04","slug":"our-regular-activities","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/svbcofe.org.uk\/ls\/our-regular-activities\/","title":{"rendered":"Services at St Adeline&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday Worship:\u00a0 Evensong using Book of Common Prayer (BCP)<\/p>\n<p>Our normal pattern of Services is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays the service is <strong>BCP<\/strong> <strong>Evensong<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">4th Sunday the service is <strong>BCP Holy Communion<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">5th Sunday (when one occurs) is often a Benefice Service when all congregations in the Benefice gather together at one of the four churches for a service of <strong>Holy Communion at 10:30 am<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Occasionally the pattern is changed and a Benefice service is held for special reasons<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Our winter time change experiment was a success and service time will change with the clock each year. 6:00pm in summer time and\u00a0 4:00pm in winter time<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\">From <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">29th March 2026 <\/span>when the clocks go forward until \u00a0when they go back again on <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">25 October 2026<\/span><\/h4>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">Currently All our Services will start at 6:00PM<\/span><\/h1>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">For full details of the current services click on <a title=\"Service Listings\" href=\"https:\/\/svbcofe.org.uk\/ls\/service-details\/\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Services Listings<\/span><\/a>.<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The setting for the weekly evening service is quite idyllic and full of charm. Our picture shows Wully Perks, a late local lay reader, who took our services regularly,\u00a0 preaching at the celebration of the anniversary of the death of William Tyndale who lived and worked next door at\u00a0 Little Sodbury Manor House.
