Church Services

Like all churches, St. John the Baptist, Old Sodbury has been greatly impacted by restrictions imposed by COVID-19,  but services have now resumed their pre-pandemic pattern starting at 11.15am most Sundays and lasting about an hour.

  • On the first Sunday of the month Holy Communion is held.
  • On the second Sunday of the month, Morning Prayer is held.
  • On the third Sunday of the month Holy Communion is held.
  • On the fourth Sunday of each month Morning Worship is held that is a non-communion service of the word with largely traditional hymns and is sometimes lay led.
  • If there is a fifth Sunday in the month there will be a Benefice service at 10.30am held in one of the four churches in the benefice.
