Our Beliefs

We believe in God who created and loves this planet on which we live. That God came down to earth in the Person of Jesus  who lived, died and was resurrected and who is with us today.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is still relevant today in our day-to-day lives.

We are part of the Diocese of Gloucester and support their vision found in John 10:10 ‘I have come that they may have Life and have it to the full.’  Further information can be found on their website.

The Diocese of Gloucester is also part of the worldwide Anglican Communion, with all its wonderful variety, which are brought together in the various creeds endorsed by the Church and recited throughout the world, and in the Lord’s Prayer. These can be found in the summary of Anglican beliefs and statement of faith on the Church of England’s web site.

In essence they define the greatest experience that any person can encounter – an encounter with God through the Lord Jesus Christ.
