quality education built upon Christian valuesThe Benefice is actively involved in supporting three primary schools in our communities. We provide help by providing governance of the schools, also activities such as Bible Storytellers, dramatisations of Bible stories for RE and clergy taking regular collective worship.
We are committed to support the schools in providing children with a quality education in a healthy social environment and built upon solid Christian values.

Bible Storytellers
The small team of volunteers puts on a regular dramatic rendering of Bible story at the St.John’s Mead and Horton schools, their productions are based upon the Lion Storyteller Bible by Bob Hartman. Another team is also involved with the Old Sodbury Primary School, using similar material. It is wonderful to see the childrens’ faces as they help bring these stories alive.
